“ Amazing night to remember. We loved our cocktails. First, we had the orangeinti and apple cinnamon whiskey sour. My second cocktail, the Tiramisu, was the best drink I had in my life. The coffee flavored cream topping was so delicious. The drinks are a work of art and are totally worth the price. I've paid the same price for cocktails in my home of Las Vegas that were not ever close to these decadent drinks. Don't hesitate to make your reservations in advance. ”

“ We lucked out with a Saturday evening reservation at Martiny's and were promptly seated at the bar. The ambiance is a classy throwback to the 1930s, complete with smooth jazz vibes. Cocktails were a highlight: the Three Little Words sipped down easily, while the Olive and Honey Vesper balanced savory and sweet perfectly. The B&B Savory was intense, with a caper and pearl onion adding a nice touch. Sunset Negroni was decent, but not the star of the show. Small bites shone: scotch eggs and bar nuts were spot on. Wagyu tartare? Delicious. Servers were attentive, and the 1hr 45min seating time flew by. Martiny's feels like a winter wonderland, but it's worth visiting any time of year. ”

“ Visited in Feb 2025 Martiny’s ranks among the top cocktail bars in NYC and the world based on the World Best Bar list. Hence decided to pay a visit during my recent trip to NYC. Tried a few cocktails (from the seasonal menu and the signature menu). My favourite drink was the Tea Ceremony, which also happens to be one of their signature cocktails and the most popular. I would definitely recommend folks to try the Tea Ceremony cocktail. Tried one of their other signature drinks called the Grand Martiny’s. Even though I don’t like martinis, this was a very unique drink which was unlike any martini I’ve had and I ended up liking it. Also loved the Sunset Negroni from their seasonal menu. Service was quite good. I had made a reservation and even though I was 30 mins early, they were able to accommodate me with a bar counter seat. Had a pleasant conversation with one of the mixologists who was kind enough to share some other cocktail bars recommendations. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit to Martiny’s and I can see why it ranks among NYC’s top cocktail bars. Would definitely recommend a visit here, esp. if you’re around the Union Square area. ”

“ I recently visited Martiny’s with my family who were visiting from Taiwan, and it absolutely lived up to the glowing reviews. This has quickly become my favorite bar in New York City. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, I can assure you that every cocktail is worth it—especially the off-menu creations, which were exceptional. Each drink we ordered was a masterpiece, but I highly recommend the Orange Martini and espresso martini! Orange martini is not on the menu, but it’s a classic martini from Martiny’s with a unique twist that makes it truly special. The ambiance at Martiny’s is cozy and comfortable, making it the perfect spot for both intimate and casual gatherings. The service was impeccable—attentive and friendly, ensuring we had an amazing experience from start to finish. We had a fantastic time and I can’t wait to return. “ It was a great experience for me. Reservations are strictly recommended, however, if you are lucky and try walk-in, you might get a spot in the bar after 10/15 minutes waiting. They have a great service, staff is very friendly and welcoming. Very cozy spot. A good variety of martinis, and all the drinks are incredibly good. They have a food menu, but not like a dinner menu. Small portions/plates but delicious. Great place for drinks! ”

“ Sometimes all you want is an old-fashioned, classy bar. You know, where the bartender wears a white shirt and bow tie, you get polite service and they have perfect classic cocktails. The problem is that they're often snobby and uninviting. Not so with Martiny's, which feels more like being invited to a rich Asian friend's cosy living room where you happen to get great cocktails. But with warm towels and spectacular Martinis. After having our secret test drink perfectly served, we choose a Tea Ceremony from the signature menu. It's as much a visual feast as a flavour sensation with bourbon, cocoa and matcha. We definitely feel Takuma Watanabe's roots in our favourite speakeasy Angel's Share. There's a reason it's the second highest rated bar in NYC. Next time we want to impress someone, we'll be back! ”

You’re also paying for innovative and well crafted cocktails. I highly recommend getting the Kaluga Caviar / Mini Martini pairing for 30. The caviar’s saltiness pairs beautifully with the martini. ”
